Requirements for registration include:

Internet access – If you do not have Internet access on your personal computer, most public libraries, copy shops and other locations offer access.
e-mail address – In order for a payment receipt to be sent back to the contractor, and to allow for fast District correspondence, a valid e-mail address will be required.
Credit card or Checking Account – Online license renewal will require that the applicant use a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express) or a checking account. Payment for online license renewal will be achieved through the same highly secure site as other online permitting.
